COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course presents methods of incorporating low vision exams into a primary care setting. It will provide an overview of exam adaptation, device selection and other strategies to help patients achieve their visual goals.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Attendees will be able to determine their patient’s functional visual needs, demonstrate effective visual aids targeted to the level of vision impairment, and discuss resources available to assist with further adaptation to their visual impairment.
