COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Part 1 - Gives practical guidelines for the routine preoperative examination and diagnosis of patients and cataracts. Part 2 - Reviews cataract surgery with video clips of various cataract procedures.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • To show and acquaint doctors with each step of the cataract surgical procedure, possible complications and IOL options
  • To give overview of subjective/objective exams, pre-op tests and numerous medical eye considerations and patient counseling
