COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Description: In a grand round formats, Pacific University, College of Optometry residents will present topics of interest in Severe Fibrinous Anterior Uveitis, Limbal Dermoid, and Symblepharon

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Distinguish between limbal dermoids and other forms of anterior segment pathology.
  • Know appropriate treatment, referral, and potential surgical techniques which may be employed.
  • Understand risk of progression and sight loss based on presentation/etiology.
  • Recognize various clinical presentations of symblepharon and mechanism of formation.
  • Identify, diagnose, treat, and manage anterior uveitis.
  • Describe various methods and approaches for treatment and management of limbal dermoids.
