COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course reviews the laws and statutes that govern the practice of optometry in the state of Oregon. NOTE: the approval from the Oregon Board of Optometry for this course expires on April 22, 2018, but you cannot take this version of the course for credit if you have passed it before.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • At the conclusion of this course, the doctor of optometry will be familiar with the pertinent laws, rules and statutes that regulate the practice of optometry in the state of Oregon
  • Successful completion of this course will satisfy the requirement of the Oregon Board of Optometry to have a review of optometric law every 2 years
